Carla P. Jackson, Vice President
Utilities and Energy Research
Carla P. Jackson joined Abt SRBI as Director of its National Energy Research Center in 1997 after 17 years of experience at the Tennessee Valley Authority. At TVA, one of the largest generators and providers of electric power in the world, Ms. Jackson's responsibilities included market research and program evaluation. Her current work for energy-industry clients includes customer satisfaction, saturation surveys, branding, smart meters, energy efficiency, and nuclear power, among other topics. She has pioneered in the inclusion of cell phones in market and evaluation research with utility customers.

She is a member of the Association of Energy Service Professionals (AESP) and the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and has authored or co-authored numerous papers and presentations on topics of interest to the utility market research and evaluation community.

Ms. Jackson holds a B.A. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and an M.A. in sociology from Brown University.
