Chintan Turakhia, a Senior Vice President for Abt SRBI, has extensive experience
in quantitative, qualitative research and data base management.
Mr. Turakhia has been conducting research in Political, Health Care, Public
Policy, and Financial areas for over ten years. His projects typically
involve complex research design, extensive data-collection protocols,
intense data base management and analytics.
Mr. Turakhia has directed several tracking studies among parents and adolescents
involving academic and sensitive healthcare issues such as smoking, alcohol
use, and sexually transmitted diseases for academic clients such as Columbia
University, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, New York
University and The City University of New York. Mr. Turakhia also conducts
Health Care and Political research for clients such as Philadelphia Health
Management Corporation (PHMC), The Eagleton Institute of Politics, The
Pew Research Center for the People and Press and The Veterans Administration.
Mr. Turakhia recently completed one of the largest political research
projects ever conducted for University of Pennsylvania. This project involved
completing over 100,000 telephone interviews at 30 minutes each.
He has also directed several customer satisfaction and product positioning
projects in the Financial Services area. Key clients in this area include
Bank of America, Prudential Investments and Philadelphia Stock Exchange.
In Media research area, Mr. Turakhia has conducted readership studies
for magazines such as USA Weekend (a Gannett company). These projects
typically involve target market analysis, market segmentation and gauging
reader satisfaction.
His credentials include an M.B.A. concentrated in Marketing Research from
Bernard M. Baruch College (CUNY), New York.
