Mindy Rhindress, Ph.D., Senior Vice President,
Transportation Research Group
Mindy Rhindress has close to thirty years in the research industry. She is an accomplished manager with very strong experience in all phases of marketing research including study design, interviewing methodologies, questionnaire construction, execution and analysis. For the past fifteen years, she conducted on-going research for both State and City government agencies and for the transportation, financial, publishing, fashion and entertainment industries.

Of these, Ms. Rhindress' strong niche is in transportation. As such, she held prime responsibility for close to one hundred projects assessing a variety of topics including but not limited to travel behavior, service evaluations, converting non-riders, payment methods, customer satisfaction and advertising effectiveness. Through these projects, she gained an in-depth familiarity on many issues facing the national, urban and suburban transportation industry today.

At Abt SRBI, Ms. Rhindress heads the Transportation Group as Senior Vice President. Before joining Abt SRBI, she founded the transportation division at Macro International and its predecessor firm, AHF Marketing Research.

Dr. Rhindress received a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. In addition, since 1993, she served as an adjunct faculty member and an advisor to the marketing and social science research graduate program at Queens College.
