- Our team was central to the development of an integrated research and measurement program for
a major technology provider. The team designed the program from the ground up to capture vital

- A major PC manufacturer required a sophisticated planning tool designed to optimize prices and
configurations, identify proper channels of distribution, identify potential of new and emerging
products and calibrate results to the marketplace. A key element of the model was to identify
optimal product configuration at retail as compared to Web or Phone sales. The team at Abt SRBI
designed the study to collect the required data and built the model. The model delivered highly
predictive results and was used to identify major new products that were subsequently launched and
delivered significant profits to the company. The completed Market Model was calibrated to actual
market results on a quarterly basis. The results of the Market Model were presented at
conferences held by the Institute for International Research (IIR) called "Return on Marketing

- Abt SRBI helped a BTB software services company develop their online case and billing management
system to optimize the mix of customer demand with program customization. The objective of the
study was to identify cost effective configurations for rollout of highly customized products to
a broader segment of the BTB market. The Abt SRBI study identified key requirements and differentiated
these from potential custom add-ons.
- Abt SRBI surveyed decision makers for high volume, multi-function laser printers to profile the
market, decision influencers, application requirements, and environments for large networked
printing applications. The study defined the product line configuration for a major printer
